Course Details
This unit provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to enter and work in confined spaces, as well as test the working atmosphere, using electronic test apparatus, to find out if it is safe for the proposed work.

On successful completion and assessed as competent you will receive Statement of Attainments issued by Pro-Lift Training and Assessment Services RTO 40817 for BOTH of the following:

MSMWHS217 – Gas test atmospheres
A short literacy and numeracy test will be required to be completed by all students.
Please note: In the industry, this certification is also referred to as a ‘Confined space ticket’, or a ‘CS’, or a ‘OHS Confined Space’ and/or a ‘Gas Tester’.
Delivery Mode
Theory and practical face-to-face training and assessment.
Minimum 1-2 days training.

Enclosed shoes, hat, sun safe polo shirt or long-sleeved shirt, shorts or long pants.
Please note: Food is not provided. Participants are given 2 breaks at designated times throughout the day. You are welcome to bring food or buy from the ‘Tucker truck’. Tea and coffee is provided.
All training materials and stationary required to complete the assessment is provided.
