TLILIC0003 – Licence to operate a forklift truck

Course Details

Competent and safe Forklift Operators are in high demand. 

On-site training available.

This unit provides the participant the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely:

  • Plan work
  • Conduct routine checks on a forklift truck
  • Shift loads in a safe manner
  • Safely shut down and
  • Secure equipment after completing operations.

Frequently Asked Questions

On successful completion and assessed as competent you will receive a Statement of Attainment issued by Pro-Lift Training and Assessment Services RTO 40817.

TLILIC0003 – Licence to operate a forklift truck

A short literacy and numeracy test will be required to be completed by all students.

Please note: In the industry, this certification is also referred to as a ‘Forklift Ticket’ or a ‘Forklift Licence’ or a ‘OHS Forklift Ticket’ or a ‘WHS Forklift’

This course supersedes and is equivalent to TLILIC2001 – Licence to operate a forklift truck

Delivery Mode

Theory and practical face-to-face training and assessment.

Option 1

Logbook Setup: 1 day logbook set up, 1 day assessment.

Option 2

Minimum 3 Days Intensive Training.

Enclosed shoes, hat, sun safe polo shirt or long-sleeved shirt, shorts or long pants.

Please note: Food is not provided. Participants are given 2 breaks at designated times throughout the day. You are welcome to bring food or buy from the ‘Tucker truck’. Tea and coffee is provided.

All training materials and stationery required to complete the assessment is provided.
