Course Details

Competent and safe Doggers are in high demand in both the civil, mining and construction industries. 

This unit provides the participant the skills and knowledge required to perform dogging tasks safely, focussing on the use of slinging techniques, and positive communication with the plant operator to move a load, when it’s out of the operator’s view.

On successful completion and assessed as competent you will receive a Statement of Attainment issued by Pro-Lift Training and Assessment Services RTO 40817.

CPCCLDG3001 – Licence to perform dogging

A short literacy and numeracy test will be required to be completed by all students.

Please note: In the industry, this certification is also referred to as a ‘Doggers Ticket’ or a ‘Doggers Licence’.

Theory and practical face-to-face training and assessment.

Minimum 5 Days Intensive Training.

Please note: Food is not provided. Participants are given 2 breaks at designated times throughout the day. You are welcome to bring food or buy from the ‘Tucker truck’. Tea and coffee is provided.

All training materials and stationery required to complete the assessment is provided.
